The belief at Living Arts Wellness is simple. We teach the nutritional work of Dr. Ann Wigmore. She developed the Living Foods Lifestyle® to overcome disease and improve quality of life and believed that there are two main causes of disease: deficiency and toxemia. Deficiency means that our bodies are undernourished because we do not get the nutrients we need from cooked food. Toxemia is a term used to describe poisons that are stored in the body. These toxins are formed from eating unnatural, processed, and pesticide-tainted foods.

Wheatgrass is used abundantly in the Living Foods Lifestyle® because it increases red blood-cell count and lowers blood pressure. It cleanses the blood, organs, and gastrointestinal tract of debris, stimulates metabolism, and aids in reducing blood pressure by dilating the blood pathways throughout the body.

Plant based foods are the holy grail. Their chemical and biological composition creates a symphony of sustainability, proper functioning, and internal healing that is in direct contrast to the stresses and illnesses placed on the body by animal based foods.
